I found one brief mention of Friar Tuck's online. Apparently it was a nightclub located somewhere in Northern Kentucky.

  2. Friar Tuck's was located near the present location of Northgate Mall at the north corner of Colerain Ave. and Yellowstone Dr. in Groesbeck, OH.

    1. A great group. I played guitar with Jerry,Dave,Terry, & John for three years at Friar Tucks on Colerain Ave.
      Some really great lounge music.

    Did you play with them when they played on the Lynn Mink show on Ch 9 in the early 70s?

    1. Yes, that was me on the Gibson. Jerry Conrad was unable to play that show because he was the band leader on Bob Brawn show on WLW. I played with that band for 3 years. I enjoyed it much.

    2. I also played with Frank Brown band on the Dennis Wholey show at the same time. I miss Cincy music seen. Before Frank B. and Jerry C. I played with the Casinos '64-66.

    2. David Petrik also trumpet player in the Rhythm and Brass passed away several years ago. David was a fine musician, he also played vibes with this group.

  5. I remember the band playing at the Lynn Mink show at WCPO TV. In the early 70s. My dad was a security guard there and I would get to go to all of the recordings of the show. Great memories from back then!
    I remember the great sound of the band very well as well as Lynn. He was a great singer.
