Thank you for posting this. ! Gary is my Uncle. I know he would love to see this and I would like to see the entire Album posted .... Thanks again. Chris Whitaker
Chris I happened across this blog information about Gary Edwards and you share here that he is your uncle. This is Dennis Downs from the Knoxville Tennessee area. There was a group of us that always enjoyed traveling to different places when the band was playing. If you get this message please reach out to Gary and tell him that I said hello and that he will remember me from my nickname "Memphis". Ha. When I first met them in Knoxville I just moved there from the Memphis area so they would always shout out at the end of one of the songs when they saw me "Memphis is in the building!" so please tell him hi and that I would enjoy to hear from him at email DRD1206@gmail.com. I've wondered about him and the band members and all of the other friends that we used to catch up with many times through the years so I really truly hope this gets to him. Dennis
I haven't seen Gary in years. I used to work the door and as a bouncer at the Patio Lounge. When he played there you couldn't get in.In 1974 I actually recorded him live with a Sony Reel to Reel Tape. I then put in on 8 track and Gary asked to borrow it, I never got it back, lol. I had a copy of On With the Show at one time, but it disappeared doing one of my many moves over the years. If you ever see Gary tell him Big Bob from the Patio Lounge in Louisville said Hi. Also ask him whatever happened to Buddy Morris. Thanks
Bad Bob , went to see sherry edwards sing at gas light fest. going through her music came across your post, anyways im married to a Buddy , morris Hockersmith ? is this the one your looking for?
I used to go to the Tangier in Akron Ohio EVERY time he was in town and the place was always sold out. I absolutely adored him and so did lots of ladies :) Is there any way to get his albums?
My mom used to go every weekend to see Gary Edward's and Sage when they played in Louisville, Kentucky. She snuck me in a few times to see them. I had the biggest crush on Gary Hoff who was in the band.
I have been searching everywhere for the members names. I farted one of the two brothers that lived in vieux carre but I can't for the life of me remember his name. Do you know?
Thank you for posting this. !
