Eddie Herring Sings For You

Ebb Tide
Eddie Herring Sings For You
Mega-Sound Recording Studios, Inc. - Dayton, Ohio

From the back cover: Eddie Herring Sings For You is the first album by this talented young vocalist. The songs presented here are among the many requested every night by the happy patrons of Betty Greenwood's Cascades. When Betty, herself a mistress of night club aplomb, presents Eddie to her audience and his rich, full voice fills the room with "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing", a ripple of excitement is shared by all.

Eddie sings with deep feeling. His qualities of originality and sincerity produce a sophistication of song that belies his twenty-seven years.

Asked when he started singing, Eddie replies "It must have been 27 years ago". At the age of thirteen he organized his first vocal group, The Sultans, and entertained appreciative audiences on the local scene. His professional career was well launched when he joined The Domino in 1962. A tour to the Far East followed. In the Philippines, the Dominos sang with the Mitchel Boys Choir, and scored successes with audiences from Japan to Hawaii.
