The Links Album Covers

I Can See Clearly Now

Howdy Lounge Lovers! To date, I've found 6 Links albums. Are there more to be unearthed?

  1. That is the fastest rendition of any song I have ever heard. Do they all sound like that?

  3. It depends on condition, if you try to sell them on ebay, to a record dealer or in a yard sale... and who happens to be looking that day for this type of record. And the market is down right now because of the economy. If you list them on ebay for under $10... probably... maybe someone will bid.

  5. Is that Will Ferrell on the last cover? The guy on the left needs a grinectomy.

  6. My parents were freakishly fanatic about The Links. They would plan trips to Elko or Winnemucca, NV just to see these dudes. Of course, I was tortured by having to listen to the records for years, but they did have one song that we all loved, "You're Ugly, But You're Mine".

  7. it actually brings joy yo my heart that such talentless people can make such a happy sound and not feel self-concious about it. god bless The Links and the 70s!

  8. The frizzy haired guy DOES look so much like Will Ferrell. In fact, these guys story is BEGGING for representation in a Will Ferrell movie!!

  9. I saw And Again Once Again at a Salvation Army 30 years ago and it's haunted me ever since. I was stunned and intrigued but too young to really go for collecting really vile things for fun. Of course I never saw again and it became one of those things that you think you might possibly have imagined. But no. Here it is and even tackier than I thought, although I did in fact rate it as the tackiest thing I'd ever seen. Those jackets are the sort to which you can never become so jaded that they don't make your eyes bulge. Wonderful.

  11. Every record by The Links that I've seen is autographed. Which makes unsigned copies probably more valuable. Track highlights off the the last record "Satan Takes a Holiday" & "El Cumbachero". These guys had loads of talent, just not in the wardrobe or hairstyle department.
