  2. Amazing - my dad was a total lounge singer and judging by that album cover - just what you are looking for on this page. I read further and see you do this for fun, crazy finds and I would imagine when you found the album it was just the thing! He was a great man and a great night club singer in my eyes and maybe this blog is for the crazy stuff you find - but it genuinely gave me a smile!! Cheers!! :)

    1. Thank you. Artists, like your father, produced these albums to please their fan base, promote their services and hopefully make a little extra money selling copies in clubs. They couldn't have guessed that, in the future, their music might be widely distributed through the internet. With limited resources they made these treasures that can now be handed down for new ears to listen to. I love them because they define a type of energy and (sometimes crazy) creativity found only during the few decades that most were produced.

  4. Mark--any chance you can post "Mack The Knife" from the album? It would bring back great memories for many of us. My mom had the album but in --get this- 8track version!!! Even if I kept it, there would be no way to play.

    1. Hi Angela! I've posted the entire album above. Sorry about the reset needle at the beginning, I normally edit stuff like that out. 8-Track? That must have been a pricey option! Enjoy! – Mark
