Fred George
Recorded on location - Louisville, Kentucky - April '72
KBK Records, St. Louis, MO. MK 27-42
OMG!!! I can't believe I found this!! I LOVE Freddie! He used to play in a lounge at a hotel I worked at in Kissimmee FL back in the 70's!!! My girlfriend and I used to beg our boss to let us be the "bus help" in the lounge so we could hang out with Freddie!! AWESOME!!! Would Love to acquire some of his music!
Blessed to have heard (and, of course, met) Freddy last month. You don't just go to show of his: you are welcomed intimately to share the experience as a new friend and participant, as well. Great entertainer to see in person; makes you feel like a better person for it. Better get to one of his shows before he retires!
I LOVE THIS MAN. PLEASE TELL FREDDIE STACI SAYS HI AND SHE LOVES HIM - SHE LOST HIS PHONE NUMBER BUT WILL FIND IT SOON AND CALL. I MISS YOU FREDDIE AND CAN'T WAIT TO CATCH UP WITH YOUR DARLING.
Hello Fred you may remember the Kelsey family but we sure remember you and tell stories about you all the time. We are Michael,Pat, Scott and Kristin. Michael is the brother of Bill. We all now live in Flordia and love it here. You were and are I'm sure a pleasure to listen to and watch. Just wanted to let you we still think of you and I still have the album you gave me and Mike for one of our anniversaries way back when. Take care.
Freddie is one of the most incredible men/human BEings who I have ever met in my life. I began bartending in his venues when I was 22 and I am 56 now and consider him one of the purest truest friends I have ever known.
Heard Freddie George last Friday night in Louisville. A great entertainer!
ReplyDeleteIs Freddie still playing? He help decorate our Christmas tree about 1974!

ReplyDeleteA gift on the beautiful wall says "Freddy's;" the gift who is a beautiful person spells it "Freddie"
