Welcome to The Motel Lounge! What's your poison? This album blog features a variety of unusual vinyl finds from the days when the only way to reach an audience was for the artist to custom press their own LPs that could be sold in the lounge settings, private parties or weddings at which they performed. I'm here to have fun and hope you will share in my process of discovery!

Dean Williams...nope I'm listening to right now. Bartended at what was then a Sheraton in north Ocean City,MD in 1980. Fed them drinks for free all night. Their act was great for tips.. cocktail waitress, servers, all loved the act.
Dick Carlson here: Tony made a legendary appearance on drums at our 35th reunion of Jamestown NY High School. Great to see him, and groove to the sounds.
They really had me going for a minute. I thought it was Emerson Lake and Palmer.
ReplyDeleteI find this absolutely hilarious as my dad was in that band. I thought we were the only ones that actually had that album.
